Before I start, not every game shown in this presentation will be discussed, as I will mainly talk about games that I care about and am interested in. If the games you care about and are interested in don't show up here, don't take it personally; I have nothing against the games, but they're just not for me, or it's just that I don't have much to say about them except cool. However, if you're happy with the games that you care about and are interested in, I have nothing to say about it; good for you, and I'm happy for you.

This looks to be a fun strategy game with characters from the Worms series, which should be a lot of fun and interesting. Not only that, but they also teased a new Worms game in development, which is quite cool as well. Cool to see a spin-off game with the Worms series, and we'll see how this game turns out once it's released next year.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom, set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and Switch 2 on September 4, 2026.
Wow, didn't expect this game to show up on the pre-show, as I thought it would appear on the main show, but cool to see this game on here regardless. Okay, this game got my immediate attention. A Metroidvania in a Mexican setting? Looks and sounds awesome to me! Really love the art style of this game, and the combat looks so smooth as well, with it being a combination of Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania into one. Love that there's cooking in this game as well, which should be fun to do on the side. Definitely feeling the vibes of this game, and the music is pretty good from what we've listened to as well. Holy crap! We're getting a Monster Hunter mixed with Elden Ring game from miHoYo?! I'm down! I didn't expect miHoYo to develop a game like this, but nice to see them out of their comfort zone, as they're usually well known for doing gacha games, so this is a breath of fresh air. Graphics look beautiful, and the gameplay looks like a lot of fun as well. This game has a ton of potential, and I hope to see more of it down the line.

Nice to see a new trailer for this game, as it continues to look great every time we see it. The fact that they got very famous actors for this game is also very impressive. What they have for the deluxe edition is awesome, as it includes a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, an alternate outfit for Simon, and styles for the CRTVs. Looking forward to seeing how this game will turn out overall once it's released next month.
Crimson Desert Enhanced is an upgraded version of the open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Pearl Abyss, and the upgrade is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

The last time we saw anything about this game was back at the Game Awards last year, so great to see it again as it continues to look great. Love the new power-ups that Mega Man has, and the new boss within the game, Twinkle Girl, is quite interesting. Not only that, it looks like Proto Man will be in the game due to being a part of the logo at the end of the trailer, so that's awesome even though it should be expected. Also, having a collab with Pragmata and Mega Man coming later this year is awesome as well to give the fans hype about Mega Man: Dual Override. Great to see Mega Man back after eight years, and hope to see more of it soon in the future.

Man, when I first saw this, it looked like Resident Evil, but in anime form with RPG combat. A very nice, unique take on combining two different genres into one, but it actually looks pretty good so far. This game has a lot of potential for sure, and I'm very curious to see how this game will turn out overall and hope to see more in the future.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the Metro series, I can't deny that this game looks pretty good, and it's probably something that Metro fans would be excited about from what we've seen so far. This game looks to be a lot darker compared to other Metro games, so they nailed the atmosphere for this game quite well. We'll see how this game will turn out once it's released in six months.

1666: Amsterdam is a dark, story-led third-person action-adventure game developed and published by Panache Digital Games, which is now available on PC.
When we first saw this game back at Summer Game Fest, I was amazed by it, as it's a spiritual successor to the classic Assassin's Creed games and definitely has that feeling in terms of its settings and gameplay. However, the fact that they made it more distinct compared to early Assassin's Creed games by using wizardry is quite cool. Plus, you get to play as a cat as well, and you can't beat that. Curious to see how this game will turn out overall, as it's available now for players to play.
Showa American Story is an over-the-top action role-playing game developed by NEKCOM Entertainment and published by 4Divinity. The game is set to be released on PS5 and PC in the future.
When I first saw this game, I thought it was another Yakuza/Like a Dragon game, but it turns out to be a new original game developed by a Chinese video game company, and I find that to be pretty cool. It has that Yakuza/Like a Dragon feel to it, along with Ninja Gaiden/Warriors gameplay into it which I kind of dig. Plus, this seems to be a game about Japanese people and how they view America, which is quite interesting. Either way, curious to see more about this game, as it definitely caught my interest with this trailer here.

It's still wild to me that we're getting a new Crazy Taxi game, but it's finally coming, and it'll be out next year, which I can't wait to experience. Just looking at this game, it's Crazy Taxi alright, and of course, it should have multiplayer to make this game even more fun and chaotic. Nice to see this game finally being in the 1.0 version after having so many tests for a long time. Even though it's a Diablo-esque game, it's still quite fun, and it's unique in its own way. The fact that they still have this game for free for players to try out is quite awesome. Curious to see how the actual 1.0 version turns out once it's released in four months.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix, which the game is set to be released on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in Spring 2027.
Every time I see this game, I continue to be amazed as it continues to look incredible. It looks like they're making the weapons a big part of the story now, as originally they were optional bosses in the original game, so now the weapons seem to be mandatory bosses within the game, which should be challenging and fun. This game can't come out soon enough, and I hope to see more of it as it'll be released next spring.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Remastered is a remaster of the open-world action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt Red, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. The game is set to be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2 on September 29, 2026.
I had a feeling that this game was going to get remastered to help build up The Witcher IV, but the fact that this remaster is free for those who originally owned the game is freaking awesome. The improvements that they did for this game are incredible, with updated graphics, improved combat, and new finishers. Very curious to see how this remaster will turn out overall once it's released next month.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past is an expansion for the open-world action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt Red, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. The DLC will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2 in 2027.
It's still insane that there'll be DLC for this game twelve years after its release. My goodness. However, everything in this DLC expansion has potential in terms of story, so we'll see how that turns out. Either way, not a bad way for players to wait until The Witcher IV releases. We'll see how this expansion turns out once it's released next year.
Overall, this was a good presentation from Geoff Keighley and his team. Just like with Summer Game Fest, they tend to get better each year as they continue to improve in terms of pacing. Even though it didn't hit the same level as Summer Game Fest two months ago, it still had some pretty good announcements and awesome trailers to see and look at. In addition, the music performance and the segment with Gamescom Cares were well done too, so hands off to them. Despite the show not being at the same level as Summer Game Fest two months ago, this was one of the better Gamescom Opening Night Live shows as they continue to improve each year, and I hope that Geoff Keighley and his team continue to improve them in the years to come.
