Before I start, not every game shown in this presentation will be discussed, as I will mainly talk about games that I care about and are interested in. If the games you care about and are interested in don't show up here, don't take it personally, have nothing against the games, but they're just not for me, or it's just that I don't have much to say about them except cool. However, if you're happy with the games you care about and are interested in, I have nothing to say; good for you, and I'm happy for you.
With E3 officially gone, Summer Game Fest is pretty much the biggest gaming show of the summer, so did they deliver this year? In addition, will also be talking about Days of the Devs, as some beautiful indie games should be talked about as well, giving them a spotlight here.
Resident Evil Veronica is a remake of the survival horror game developed and published by Capcom back on Dreamcast in 2000, Resident Evil - Code: Veronica. The game is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and Switch 2 in 2027.
Holy crap! We're getting a reimagining of Resident Evil - Code: Veronica with Resident Evil Veronica?! Heck yes! Man, I didn't expect a huge makeover for this game as it looks totally different, but it still has the same vibe that the original game had, which is impressive. It looks like the game will be in first-person as well, which should be an interesting take for this game, and nice to see Claire Redfield again, as her design in this game looks great. Looking forward to replaying this in a new light, and I can't wait to see more of it once it's released next year.
Mighty Cuphead Adventure is a run-and-gun game developed and published by Studio MDHR, which is set to be released in the future.
Wait what?! We're getting an 8-bit classic Megaman-like Cuphead game?! Count me in! Holy crap, didn't see this coming, as it looks awesome, as it looks like I'm playing the game in an arcade. Love it. Not only that, but we also got an announcement from Studio MDHR that another Cuphead game is in development with another hand-drawn art style, which I'm really looking forward to. Can't wait to see more of the Cuphead games once they're ready to show more.

gen ATLAS is a single-player, open-world action-adventure game developed by Fumito Ueda and published by Epic Games. The game is set to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X in the future.
We haven't seen anything from this game since the 2024 Game Awards, so nice to see it here with more gameplay, and it looks incredible. It definitely has that Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Last Guardian vibes with its gameplay, which I'm totally down for. Nice to see that Fumito Ueda is still making games, and I'm curious to see how gen ATLAS turns out, as I hope to see more of this game in the future.
Blood Message is an action-adventure game developed by 24 Entertainment Lin'an and published by NetEase Games. The game is set to be released in the future for unannounced consoles.
This looks to be a fun action-adventure game taking place in medieval China, which I can get behind. The story seems to be very interesting as well, with the protagonists trying to protect their homeland against the odds. This game has potential, and I hope to see more of this game in the future.
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is an action-adventure game developed by RGG Studio and published by Sega. The game is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 15, 2027.
Wait, they're adding Tupac in this game?! That's crazy! The game continues to look incredible, and I continue to dig the vibes this game is going for. Like I said, this game is like 1920s Yakuza, which I'm totally for, and the amount of celebrities they got for this game is insane. Finally happy to see that we got a release date for the game as well, and I can't wait to play it in seven months.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is an action role-playing game developed by Platinum Games and published by Paramount Game Studios. The game is set to be released on unannounced consoles in the future.

Crossfire is a third-person shooter developed by That's No Moon and published by Team K1. The game is set to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X in the future.
I can definitely tell this game is developed by former Naughty Dog members, as it has that Uncharted and Last of Us vibe to it, so nice to see the former developers within that team to create a new team to develop this game, as it looks pretty impressive thus far. Even though I don't know if this game would be for me, I can't deny that this game is well-developed, and I'm curious to see how this game will turn out overall, and hope to see more in the future.
CONTROL Resonant is an action role-playing game developed and published by Remedy Entertainment, which the game is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on September 24, 2026.

Looking forward to this game's release once it comes out in three months.
Guild Wars 3 is an action-adventure massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by ArenaNet. The game is set to be released on PC in the future.
Oh wow, didn't expect another Guild Wars game, so this was a nice surprise. I kind of wished we got more gameplay, but it looks like the game is still in development, and will have a beta test of the game in Fall 2027, which will be a long time from now. Cool to see Guild Wars making a return after Guild Wars 2 in 2012, and I'm curious to see how Guild Wars 3 turns out once we see more of it heading into next year.
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a racing game developed by Fuse Games and published by Secret Mode. The game is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 6, 2026.
We finally got a release date for the game, and everything we've seen with this trailer here has been incredible. It looks like they got a good amount of racers in this game, and they look to have a good amount of racecars as well, which is great to see. The story seems a bit interesting too, but the game looks fast and fun, and looking forward to seeing how this game will turn out once it's released in four months.

VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS is a fighting game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. The game is set to be released on unannounced consoles in 2027.
It's about time that we got more gameplay for Virtua Fighter, and it looks quite interesting as it seems to be different compared to other Virtua Fighter games in the past. The game seems to have a more beat 'em up style to it, as it looked like Shenmue and Yakuza/Like a Dragon at times, which is quite cool. I'm very curious to see how this game will turn out in general, as we'll get to see more of it in another presentation that focuses more on VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS. Looking forward to seeing how this game will turn out once it's released next year.
1666: Amsterdam is a third-person dark story-led, action-adventure game developed and published by Panache Digital Games, which is set to be released on PC in the future.
Wow, this game definitely gives me Assassin's Creed vibes, which makes sense as the development team is former Ubisoft members who worked on Assassin's Creed in the past. The gameplay looks to have that Assassin's Creed style to it, which is nice to see, and the story seems quite interesting as well. Hope to see more of this game in the future once it's released, but a playable prologue can be played on PC right now.

Among Us Story: On Guard is a single-player mystery game developed and published by Innersloth. The game is set to be released on PC in the future.
Cool to see that Innersloth is making another game within the Among Us series, and having an actual single-player mystery game would change things up a lot. They also used a different art style for this game, which looks good, and I'm curious to see what stories they can come up with in this game. Hope to see more of this in the future with more gameplay.
MONSTER HUNTER WILDS: ASCENDANCE is a major expansion to the action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom, MONSTER HUNTER WILDS. The expansion is set to be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2027.
This was expected, as it was only a matter of time, as everything we've seen so far with this expansion looks to be massive. The additional monsters being added, as well as more locales to explore, are always a treat. Can't wait to see what else this expansion has to offer, and I hope to see more once it's released next year.
Swords of Legends is a single-player action-adventure role-playing game developed by Aurogon Shanghai and published by Wangyuan Shangteng Entertainment. The game is set for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

This game definitely has a ton of potential, and I hope to see more of it soon in the future.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a kart racing game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. Year 2 DLC for the game will be released on Switch 2, Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in 2027.
Well, it looks like we're getting more DLC with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and the fact that we're getting two new worlds is awesome. Godzilla looks to be a fun track, and the fact that we're also getting an Evangelion track along with Rei as a playable racer is awesome. Can't wait to see more of this DLC once it's released next year.

This is one of the better manga/anime video games out there, and I'm curious to see how the final part will be played in this game. Regardless, looking forward to playing it as it'll be released next month.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is an episodic adventure game developed and published by Telltale Games, where the game is set to be released on unannounced consoles in 2027.

Either way, cool to see this make a return, and I hope to see more of it next year.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a remaster of the episodic adventure game developed and published by Telltale Games released in 2018, The Wolf Among Us. The game is set to be released on PC in Holiday 2026.
Well, with the return of The Wolf Among Us with the sequel, it makes sense to remaster the first game for those who haven't played it yet, which is a smart decision on Telltale Games' part. This looks to be the same game with updated graphics, which isn't a bad thing, as it'll get more people to try out the game for themselves. Either way, we'll see how the remaster will do once it's released this holiday.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is an action-adventure game developed and published by Shift Up, which is set to be released on unannounced consoles in the future.
Okay, dang! I knew that Shift Up was making a new game, but I didn't expect it to show up here, and it's a sequel to Stellar Blade, which is quite awesome. Evie looks cool as the protagonist of this game, and her combat style is awesome, using her fists and brawling, which stands out compared to Eve in Stellar Blade. Even though we don't have a time frame for this game yet, it looks awesome regardless, and I hope to see more of it in the future.
Street Fighter 6 is a fighting game developed and published by Capcom. Later this year, Year 4 DLC characters, including Yasmine, Arjun, Bosch, and Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, will be available.
Holy crap! Tifa was rumored to be in Street Fighter 6 recently, but it seems like the rumors were true! Man, a part of me wishes that Tifa were in Tekken 8 as she would fit perfectly in the game, but totally fine with her being in Street Fighter 6 as her poster art looks pretty good so far. The fact that they're going to be adding Final Fantasy VII gameplay into Tifa's moveset and Materia is wild, but I love it as well. I'm very curious to see how she plays and hope to see gameplay of her in the future.
FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix, set for release on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in Spring 2027.
Yes! Finally! Square Enix did say that they were going to show the final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Trilogy later this year, and we got it! Man, this game looks incredible, and it looks like they really expanded upon this game before the other Final Fantasy VII Remake Trilogy games, especially getting to explore the world with Highwind, which is an awesome addition. The gameplay of both Vincent and Cid looks awesome, and hopefully, they get a big spotlight in this game just like the rest of the characters. Also, the fact that they added a job system in this game, like classic Final Fantasy games, is awesome, as there are so many customizations that players can choose from which is awesome. This is one of my most anticipated games of next year, and I can't wait to see how it all ends once it's released next spring.
Blood Dungeon is a 2D survival platformer developed and published by Messhof, which the game is set for release on PC late Summer 2026.
This looks to be a very chaotic and fun survival platformer, which looks to be very challenging. Very curious to see more of this game and hope it turns out well once it's released this late summer.
Tenebris Somnia is a horror game developed by Andrés Borghi and Saibot Studios and published by New Blood Interactive. The game is set to be released on PC on October 16, 2026.

Props to the developers for all of the effort they put into this game, and I'm quite curious to see how this game will turn out overall once it's released in four months.
MR. RECORDS is an uplifting single-player rhythm adventure game developed by Glee-Cheese Studio and published by Wired Productions. The game is set for release on PC.

The music in this game is pretty good compared to the songs they've previewed so far. Very curious to see how this game will turn out overall once it's released, and hope to see more in the future.
33 Immortals is an action roguelike game developed and published by Thunder Lotus Games, which is set to be released on PC and Xbox Series X on June 10, 2026.
It's been a long time since we last saw this game, but great to see that this game has a release date and it's coming a lot sooner than expected. Love the amount of customization that is being built into this game, and playing with friends or people online should make the game a lot more fun and interesting. Looking forward to trying this game as it'll be out now by the time you read this.
Threads of Time is an era-spanning, turn-based role-playing game developed by Riyo Games and published by Balor Games. The game is set for release on Xbox Series X and PC.
Okay, this game definitely has my interest as it looks to be a callback to the classic SNES and PSX JRPGs in terms of its art style and gameplay, as it looks incredible. The fact that the developers were able to get legends within the video game industry to help with this game is spectacular. This game is definitely on my radar, and I hope to see more of it in the future.
Into The Unwell is a third-person roguelike game developed by She Was Such A Good Horse and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. The game is set to be released on PC in 2027.
This was another game that definitely stood out due to its art style and gameplay, as I kind of liked it. The art style reminds me of classic cartoons, and the gameplay looks to be chaotic, but also fun, as well, from what we've seen with the combat. Very curious to see how the game will turn out overall once it's released next year.
Lazy River is a co-op first-person shooter developed by Mike, Kevan, Jake, Joel, and Karlee, and published by Mike Boxleiter. The game is set for release on PC.
This looks to be a fun game to play with friends or people online, as it looks to be another game that looks to be pure chaos in a good way. The physics designed in this game are quite realistic, and it has a pretty old art srt style to the game as well, which makes it stand out. I'm very curious to see how this game will turn out overall once it's released in the future.
Prove You're Human is an adventure game developed by sunset visitor 斜陽過客 and published by Black Tabby Publishing. The game is set for release on PC.
Okay, I didn't expect someone to create a game based on ads to see if people are humans or robots, which is kind of a creative idea, I'm not going to lie. It seems like the developers put a lot of effort into this, too, in terms of research, programming, and animation. Very curious to see how this game will turn out overall and hope to see more of it in the future.
Screenbound is a dual-world action-adventure game developed and published by Crescent Moon Games. The game is set for release on PC.
I remember seeing this game before, and man, this game has come a long way since it was first revealed, and it has improved so much since then. This game is pretty much a game where you play a game inside that game's world at the same time, which is such a cool concept. Everything we've seen with this game is quite impressive, and I hope to see more of it once it's released down the line.
Shot One Fighters is a roguelike 2.5D fighting game developed and published by Red Moon Workshop, where the game is set to be released on PC in the future.
This is another game that got my attention as it looks to be a combination of both a roguelike and a fighting game at the same time, which is very unique, but I dig it. The art style looks pretty good, and the combat looks like a lot of fun as well. Very curious to see how this game will turn out overall once it's released.
Apple Crumble is a suspenseful interactive mystery game developed and published by Happy Broccoli Games, which is set to be released on PC in the future.
This looks like a fun mystery game where you figure out who the murderer is, which should be quite interesting to play and watch. The game has a unique art style, and I love the atmosphere that the game gives out. I'm very curious to see what the story will be like and hope to see more of this game in the future.
Slap Out Of It! is a slap-and-solve adventure game developed and published by Turbo Button, where the game is set to be released on PC in the future.
This game has a wacky idea, and I love it. It looks like the developers put a lot of comedy into this, which should bring a lot of laughs and smiles to people playing it, which I think would be the main point of this game. Very curious to see how this game will turn out overall once it's released.
Super Yooka-Laylee Kart is an arcade racing game developed and published by Playtonic, which is set to be released on PC in the future.
Holy crap, Playtonic is actually making a kart racing game with Yooka-Laylee?! I'm in! Really love the direction that they're going in, as it looks like a mixture of classic Mario Kart, mixing in with the modern aspects of kart racing games, which is awesome to see. This game has the potential to be awesome, and I hope to see more of it soon in the future.
Trine 6: Together in Time is a co-op puzzle platformer developed by Frozenbyte and published by Cooldown Games. The game is set to be released on PC, Xbox Series X, PS5, Switch 2, and Switch on September 17, 2026.
This looks to be a fun puzzle platformer with friends and people online, as it's another game in the Trine series, which is great to see. The number of different characters that players can play is nice, which should make gameplay a lot more interesting. Very curious to see how this game will turn out once it's released in three months.
When Sirens Fall Flat is a dark psychological thriller game developed by LKA and published by Wired Productions. The game is set for release on PC.
This looks to be a very interesting horror game as it definitely has those spooky vibes that would actually scare people due to its art style. It looks like the developers are trying to build on their previous games to make it creepier than ever. Very curious to see what the final product will look like and hope to see more in the future.
Overall, this was a great presentation from Geoff Keighley and his team. This is probably the best Summer Game Fest Geoff Keighley and this team have done yet, as it felt like E3 in terms of the game announcements and trailers we got in this presentation. The pacing was also pretty good in this presentation, as well, and that's always a plus. There was no Devolver Direct this year, sadly, but they continue to support indie games with Day of the Devs, and the games they showcased looked great. If they keep this up, Summer Game Fest will definitely be the right replacement for E3, and this is the start for them. Hope they continue this pattern every year moving forward.
